Our AI analyzes your wardrobe items using advanced computer vision to identify colors, patterns, styles, and clothing types. It then uses sophisticated algorithms to match complementary pieces, considering factors like color harmony, style consistency, occasion appropriateness, and current fashion trends. You can also specify preferences like weather, occasion, or style vibe to get personalized suggestions.
Absolutely. We take your privacy seriously. Your wardrobe photos and data are encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and stored securely on Amazon S3 with restricted access. We never sell your data to third parties. Your personal wardrobe and outfit information is only used to provide you with personalized suggestions and improve our service.
If you delete your account, all your data is permanently removed within 24 hours. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Adding items is easy:
- Navigate to your Wardrobe page
- Click "Add Item" or the "+" button
- Take a photo or upload an image of your clothing item
- Our AI will automatically detect the item type, color, and suggest tags
- Review and adjust the details if needed
- Click "Save" to add it to your wardrobe
Pro tip: Take photos on a plain background with good lighting for the best AI recognition results.
Currently, OutfitMaker.ai requires an internet connection to function because our AI processing happens in the cloud. However, once your wardrobe is loaded, you can browse your items and manually create outfits with a limited connection. We're working on a Progressive Web App (PWA) version that will allow you to save wardrobes offline for viewing. AI-powered features like outfit suggestions will always require an internet connection.
The trip planner (Premium feature) helps you pack smart:
- Enter your destination, trip duration, and planned activities
- Our AI analyzes weather forecasts and local style norms
- It suggests outfits from your wardrobe for each day
- It recommends versatile pieces that mix and match
- You'll get a packing checklist with visual outfit previews
The goal is to help you pack light while ensuring you have the perfect outfit for every occasion on your trip.
We use Stripe for secure payment processing and accept:
- All major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)
- Debit cards
- Apple Pay
- Google Pay
All payment information is handled securely by Stripe. We never store your full credit card details on our servers. Your payment data is encrypted and PCI-compliant.
You can cancel your subscription anytime:
- Go to your Account Settings
- Click on "Subscription" or "Billing"
- Select "Cancel Subscription"
- Confirm your cancellation
Important: When you cancel, you'll continue to have Premium access until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account will automatically revert to the free plan. Your wardrobe data will be preserved, but you'll be limited to free plan features.
We don't offer prorated refunds for partial months, but you can reactivate your subscription anytime.
When you request outfit suggestions, our AI may recommend complementary items to complete the look if you're missing key pieces. These suggestions are based on your existing wardrobe and personal style. We use affiliate links, meaning we may earn a small commission if you make a purchase (at no extra cost to you). However, we never share your wardrobe photos or personal data with retailers. Recommendations are optional and never required to use the app.
To permanently delete your account:
- Go to Account Settings
- Scroll to "Danger Zone"
- Click "Delete Account"
- Confirm by entering your password
This action is permanent and cannot be undone. All your wardrobe items, photos, outfits, and personal data will be permanently deleted within 24 hours. If you have an active subscription, it will be automatically canceled.
